  Headling the card in a 10-round non-title contest, Philly's own Frazier defeated "Irish" Quarry, scoring a technical in the 5th round.  Foster and the Argentine "Aconcagua" Ahumada fought to a draw in a 15-round light heavyweight championship bout live color telecast from University of New Mexico Arena, and the Albuquerque native subsequently announced his retirement from the ring, which lasted a year before he attempted, with limited success, to return.  On the undercard for a 6-round event, Jersey's "Jewish Bomber" Rossman defeated the Puerto Rican Hernandez.
