On a long card of mostly local little knowns, the veteran super middleweight from Rockaway Beach, Harry Ebbets was featured against Newark's notorious Gummy Snyder on the bill of a pair of quartets of middling and short bouts.  Snyder had been recently disqualified for fouling the rookie Oliver Snowflake in his hometown, and suffered his own humiliation at the hands of the enduring Ebbets, who took the 6-round decision.  The other 6-frame affairs were won by Joey Harrison over Freddie Lindström, originally from Lundby, Sweden, in the 2nd battle of the young local welterweights, and by Mike Denton, a Californian, over Brooklyn's Rollinson after the 2 lightweights went the distance.  For the 4s, Boston novice Vincha faced Stanley, knocking the hapless Harlem heavyweight out in the 1st, though in a slightly longer battle of Brooklyn featherweights, Manis took on Fields successfully, and Stern, also from Brooklyn, overcame Goschinshy, both after the full measure, while Queens' super feather contestant Vigna fought to a draw with Goldman over the span.
