Cain, Eddie vs. Hopkins, Jack

  Gardner was called out on a technical in the 13th round when his brother Oscar entered the ring to prevent a full count.  Battling on the undercard in his only recorded pro contest, the lightweight Hopkins knocked out the Brooklyn native Cain in the 1st round.  "Maher vs. Choynski" was overstamped with "Callahan vs. Gardner."
